About Me

I am Stavros Konidaris, an Athens based designer. Working mostly with bronze and silver, I get inspired by everyday things that carry symbolism or have a simple story to tell. I choose a minimal path as a means to escape today's information overload.
For eight years I worked as a craftsman on sculptures designed by Christoforos Sklavenitis. The experience I gained offered me not only technical skills but also the chance to study the aesthetics of this great artist and be motivated to create my own artworks.
As a designer, what intrigues me most is experimenting with new mediums and techniques. Staying creative is my way of communicating.
